Have you ever wondered what a bowling ball would look like if you could crack it open like an egg? If so, you wouldn’t be the first. Bowling balls are a staple in American society but unlike the shoes and bowling pins, they are shrouded in mystery because even though we use them we don’t know what they look like on the inside. Storm decided to let us in on the secret by posting a movie and various pictures showing us what is actually inside bowling balls. While average bowling balls are pretty boring on the inside, the higher-end balls actually have what looks like a mechanical core that reacts to the ball’s spin and momentum to keep the ball moving quickly and on-target. With these special cores, the pros are able to gain the extra edge they need to score in the upper 200’s or even bowl a perfect game. Next time I score under 100, I think I’ll blame it on the ball…
